Founded at the end of 2021, the company has gone from strength to strength since then. Producing content for global streamers and broadcasters including two series of hit BBC sitcom Bad Education, multiple productions for Netflix, Christmas movie Jack In Time for Amazon Prime and Jamie & Harry’s World Cup Challenge for Sky.

Founder
Jack Whitehall
Jack Whitehall is a multi award winning writer, actor and comedian. His credits include five series of Netflix hit show Travels With My Father, Disney’s Jungle Cruise with Emily Blunt & Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Clifford the Big Red Dog. Jack also co-starred in Amazon’s Good Omens with Jon Hamm and Michael Sheen, Apple TVs After Party with Tiffany Haddish and audiences will also remember Jack in Bad Education: The Movie, based on the much-loved series he created and co-wrote. Jack recently returned from his fourth sell-out tour, Jack Whitehall: Settle Down. He has won several awards for his stand up — including twice being crowned “King of Comedy” at the British Comedy Awards.

Richard Ackerman
Richard Ackerman co founded Jackpot in 2021 and is a
multi-award winning Executive Producer. Winner of the Rose D’Or for The Friday Night Project, BAFTA nominated for The Sunday Night Project and winner of a National Television Award and BAFTA for Alan Carr: Chatty Man, amongst others. With over 25 years experience in the TV industry, Richard now Executive Produces all of Jackpot’s content.

Nicky Mitchell
Nicky comes to Jackpot with over 20 years' experience in Production Management, having worked across numerous high-profile projects, spanning global markets including the UK, Australia, and the USA. During her career Nicky has led productions for major broadcasters and platforms including Netflix, BBC, Amazon, Sky, ITV and MTV. Her wide-ranging portfolio includes celebrity-led travelogues, studio entertainment shows, music specials, documentary, factual and large-scale reality formats, culminating in her current role of Head of Production for Jackpot.

Business Affairs Consultant
Paul Taylor
With over thirty years experience within the television and media industry, Paul, who is a qualified lawyer, former Commercial Director at Granada/ITV and currently a partner in specialist practice Big Deal Creative LLP, has been advising high profile independent TV producers and talent for many years on business and commercial affairs and deal making.

Finance
Kirk Douglas
Kirk joined Jackpot in 2022 and has previously worked with many UK and worldwide broadcasters including, BBC ,Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky, Netflix, Amazon, and Paramount and is an integral part of the team.
